| My Academic Work |
I am currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Ottawa. Previously I did a Master's degree in Theoretical Linguistics at York University in Toronto, graduating in the Fall of 2004. My honours B.A was granted in 1996 at the University of Toronto, where I began part-time studies in 1996. For more details on my academic work, see my Academic Research page.
| My Other Web Sites |
I really enjoy making web pages, whenever I have the time. The web sites I currently maintain are so numerous that I almost have to have a list to keep track of them myself.
My LanguageStore.com site sells books, tapes, CDs, and movies through Amazon.com in the U.S. and other territories and Chapters.Indigo.ca in Canada. Although there are suggestions for material on language topics, other items available through these web merchants can also be purchased.
My Brooklin Page tries to keep up with happenings in Brooklin, Ontario, Canada. I want to link to every Brooklin-related site I can find. Within this site, I also maintain sites for
The Brooklin Horticultural Society and
The Brooklin District Lions Club of which I'm a member.
The Brooklin Lions Wilderness Trail uses the web as one of its main components of education and I've been involved in its development from the start.
The Whitby District Scouts site gave me much of my web experience as it has evolved over the last several years.
I'm a part-owner of our family business, The Video Image and Video Superstore. I also worked for awhile at our other business, Brooklin Bulletin Signs.

My brother, Brian, spent a year in Finland studying international business at the University of Tampere on an exchange from York University in Toronto. He's made several trips to Europe since then. You can read about his experiences in Europe and what he's been doing lately by checking out Brian's Home Page. Write to him at brianwick@iname.com. My youngest brother, Dale, has a home page (sometimes) at the Computer Science Club of the University of Waterloo. You can write to him at dmwick@home.com. Dale also runs the Coleco Adam Home Page which is one of the central sources of information about the classic Coleco Adam computer. He has another personal home page at AdamCon.org. Dale lives in a brand new house in Brooklin with his wife, Jillian, and his son Jeffrey, who was born on January 4, 2002. Write to my other brother, Keith, at keithawick@aol.com. | |
All my bookmark links in one file (a little outdated: all links were verified in January, 1999.

I think I have about 17 e-mail addresses (last time I counted), but you should write to me at neil@wick.net for a fast response. Under normal circumstances, I check mail there at least once or twice a day. |
