As you are probably aware the Durham Free-Net is scheduled to shut down 

at midnight tonight. Negotiations are continuing aimed at ensuring the

DFN's survival. However, the phone lines may be disconnected for a few

days or longer even while revival efforts are in progress. We ask you to

please be patient during this process. If service resumes, we will make

every attempt to preserve the phone numbers that we currently have, but

in the event that it is not possible to do so you will be able to call

the following numbers for information on how to connect if and when the

DFN goes back on line:
